ROCHESTER, N.Y. –
Mohamed Sharaf (Sheikh Zayed City, Egypt),
Khamal Cumberbatch (St. James, Barbados) and
Utkarsh Baheti (Jaipur, India) each registered 3-0 victories to lead the No. 4-ranked Trinity College men's squash team to a 6-3 triumph over No. 10-ranked University of Rochester on Tuesday afternoon in New York. The Bantams improve to 8-0 on the season while Rochester falls to 1-4. Trinity resumes action Saturday at noon for its first home contest of the 2021-22 season as they host top-ranked University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to the three Bantams who went unbeaten on the day, New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Squash Player of the Week,
Ahmed Ismael (Cairo, Egypt) picked up a 3-2 win while Danial Izham won the fifth match of the day 3-1 and
William Curtis (Joondalup, Australia) earned a 3-2 win in match seven.
