HARTFORD, Conn. – Hosting its second quad match of the season, the Trinity College wrestling team won two of its three duals, defeating Plymouth State, 46-7 and Western New England, 30-22 but was bested by Southern Maine, 31-16. 
 
Senior Kevin Lyskawa went 3-0 on the day in the 165 pound division, posting a pin over Tyler Miller of Plymouth State and winning by decision and technical fall over Sean Monteiro of Western New England (WNE) and Southern Maine's David Kurker, respectively. First-year Chris Perry and sophomore Adam Frost each picked up a pair of wins on the day with Perry earning a technical fall victory at 141 pounds over Cody Giaccone of Plymouth State and later defeating Western New England's Samuel Dow in an 11-1 decision. Frost, who is coming off a NEWA Rookie Wrestler of the Week award, bested Javi Gonzalez of Plymouth State at the 174 pound division via fall before pinning his second opponent of the day, Christian Glaropoulos of WNE.
 
125-pounder Jacob Marselli was awarded a victory via forfeit in what would have been his first match of the day, but later took down Antoine Grace of Southern Maine to earn the victory by fall. Donald Ryan had a similar day to Marselli, also earning a victory via forfeit before besting Corey Cope by technical fall. At the 197-pound weight class, Timothy Glynn pinned Christian Kuechler at 4:24 while Klass defeated Charles Maloy by fall at 184 pounds. Meanwhile, 149-pounder Adian Herbert picked up a win by fall over WNE's Colby Reilly.
