"In the first race, the varsity was down to Coast Guard at the halfway point (by nearly seconds. They battled hard in the last half and managed to not only pass the Bears but pull ahead by six seconds. I was a fantastic race and they clearly found a little something extra," said Trinity Interim Head Coach
Peter Graves. "Against Tufts, we managed to keep the racing close in the first 1K, and passing through the halfway mark about one length down was a good accomplishment. We managed to reel Tufts in over the last part of the race and about a third of a length down. It was a very solid start to the season."
