CLINTON, N.Y. – The Trinity College men's track and field team finished sixth scoring 63 points in the overall team rankings at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championships on Saturday, hosted by Hamilton College. Next up for the Bantams is the New England Championships hosted by Williams College beginning on Friday, May 6 at 4 p.m.
Senior
Kinnard Hughes (Chicago, Ill.) won the triple jump with a mark of 14.45 meters and sophomore
Ethan Wilkie (Ellington, Conn.) finished as the runner-up in the shot put with a throw of 14.69 meters. Senior
Robert Allen (Bloomfield, Conn.) placed second in the 100 Meter Dash prelims with a 10.89 time to qualify for finals. He then ran a 10.93 for a third-place finish in the finals and also chalked up a fifth-place finish in the 200 Meter Dash with a 22.22 time. Junior
Travis Martin (New Haven, Conn.) clocked a 1:52.48 finish in the 800 Meter Run for a second place spot while senior
Tim Lautenbach (Weston, Conn.) finished fifth in the 1500 Meter with a 3:55.09 mark. Additionally, the men's 4x100 Relay of junior
Darren Warren, Allen, junior
Kai Bailin, and sophomore
Terrence Bogan clocked a 42.49 time for second place on the day.
The All-NESCAC Men's Track and Field Team was officially announced on May 3. Allen, Bailin, Bogan, Hughes, Martin, Warren, and Wilkie represented the Bantams on the all-conference squad.
