HARTFORD, Conn. — The Trinity College volleyball team took all three sets in the Bantams' home opener against non-conference opponent St. Joseph on Tuesday (25-20, 25-19, 25-15). Head Coach Jen Bowman inked her 400th career win as a volleyball coach and 223 at the helm for the Bantams. Trinity opened its fall campaign 1-0 overall, while St. Joseph fell to 0-4.

Molly Bernstein (Oakland, Calif.) aided the victory with five kills, a pair of aces and three blocks. Bantam junior
Lola Craig (Los Angeles, Calif.) recorded seven kills and sophomore
Ava Boloyan (American Canyon, Calif.) tallied five.
The Bantams' were neck-and-neck with the Blue Jays in the first two sets before scoring four-consecutive points in the first and three-straight in the second set.
With the score in Trinity's favor at 15-13 in the final set, the Bantams' padded the lead with five-straight points thanks to three kills from
Eva Lekovic (San Marino, Calif.),
Isabella Caffuzzi Brooklyn, N.Y.) and rookie
Sarai Davis (Fairburn, Ga.) and a pair of errors by the Blue Jays.
The team is back in action at home on Friday at 6 p.m. against Eastern Connecticut State in Oosting Gymnasium.
