HARTFORD, Conn. — In a 9-0 victory for the Trinity women's squash team over the visiting Tufts University Jumbos, seven of the nine matches posted perfect record highlighted by
Janna El Ashmawy (Alexandria, Egypt) 3-0 sweep as the sophomore only gave up 10 opposing points. The Bantams improved to 5-0 on the season, while the Jumbos dropped to 3-3. Trinity stays at home on January 13 with a 1 p.m. matchup against Dartmouth College in the George A. Kellner Squash Courts.
After dropping the first match 9-11, Kara Lincou (Le Tampon, Reunion) rallied back to win three-straight for the win along with
Nanna Carleke (Karlskrona, Sweden), who was bested 8-11 in the opening match but can back with a force to win a trio in a row.
