Trinity Men's Swimming And Diving Loses Against Wheaton

HARTFORD, Conn. - Sophomore Matt Brown (Nahant, Mass.) won the 500- anbd the 1,000-yard freestyle races with times of 4:52.82 and 10:08.32, respectively, as the Trinity College Bantams closed out their home schedule with a dropped a 173-112 decision against the visiting Wheaton College Lyons in men's swimming and diving action this afternoon at Trinity Natatorium.  Trinity is now 3-5 with one dual meet left on Saturday, January 28 at Springfield.  Wheaton ups its season mark to 7-6.  Trinity also received a first-place finish by both senior Liam Colleran (Norwalk, Conn.) in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.99 and sophomore Tadija Ciric (Nis, Serbia) in the 200-yard butterfly at 2:00.27.  Bantam junior diver Jackson Camporin (New Canaan, Conn.) was stellar with winning scores of 441.01 off the one-meter board and a score of 457.61 off the three-meter board.
