Box Score WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity Men's Soccer team dismantled host University of Hartford, 6-0, in a non-conference match at Al-Marzook Field Sunday afternoon. With the victory, the Bantams improve to 4-6-2 overall, while the Hawks dip to 2-6-2 on the season.

Matt Moran (Grosse Point Park, Mich.) fired home a feed from junior
Jacob Loor (Houston, Texas) to put Trinity ahead 1-0 in the fifth minute of action.
With 27:09 left in the first half, first-year
Shane Ivey (Bronx, N.Y.) connected with sophomore
Kieran McCabe (Natick, Mass.) for the finish to make it a 2-0 game. Just less than two minutes later, Ivey was on the scoring end of a pass from junior
Nick Bellak (Amherst, Mass.) to extend the Bantams advantage to 3-0. Trinity maintained the 3-0 advantage heading into halftime.
In the 52
nd minute of action, the Bantams ripped a barrage of shots on Hawks keeper Ryan Lunn, and then McCabe struck again, gathering a loose ball and placed a shot to the back of the net, setting the score at 4-0.
Just over three minutes later, Loor notched his second assist of the day, finding first-year
Jack Murphy (Alexandria, Va.), who delivered the finish to make it a 5-0 game. The Bantams final strike of the day came from senior
Quinn Ackman (Evanston, Ill.) in the 79
th minute to send Trinity to the 6-0 victory.
The Bantams dominated the shot column, 30-7, and corner kicks, 6-1. Bantams junior keeper Matt Birhak (East Dix Hills, N.Y.) made four saves in the win, while Lunn registered a match-high eight saves for the Hawks.
The Bantams will be back on the pitch when they host Castleton State in non-conference action at Trinity Soccer Field Wednesday night. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 p.m.
