HARTFORD, Conn. — The fourth Bantams of the Week of the 2023-24 season have been selected after impressive performances on the water and on the pitch. Trinity junior midfielder Nick Bellak (Amherst, Mass.) and women's rowing varsity eight crew featuring coxswain Julianna Boris (Newton, Mass.), Zoe Tiffin (Milwaukee, Wisc.) in the stroke seat and followed by Alley Johnson (Lincolnville, Maine), Micaela Rivera (Stamford, Conn.), Eleanor Burke (Chicago, Ill.), Valerie Casella (Woodside, N.Y.), Alex Paluszek (Farmington, N.H.), Camille Schubert  (Lake Oswego, Ore.) and Whitney Young (Jupiter, Fla.) are the Bantams of the Week.

The Varsity 8+ brought home a silver medal in the Women's Open Eight with a time of 14:03.25 to start the season for the Bantams at Trinity's home regatta, the Head of the Riverfront Regatta. The Bantams finished behind the University of Rhode Island, but crossed the finish line as the top Division III crew in the event.

Nick Bellak dominated this week with a trio of goals across two games, including the equalizer and the game-winner in the Navy & Gold's first New England Small College Athletic victory since 2017. The Bantams toppled the visiting Bates College Bobcats, 2-1, as Bellak connected in the 86th minute off the pass from first-year Jordan McCammon (Bedford, Texas). Bellak notched his first goal of the season with a header to open the scoring in a tight 2-1 loss against Western Connecticut State University.
