HARTFORD, Conn. - On Friday, February 10, Trinity College athletics is inviting our neighbors in the Hartford Community to campus for the men's basketball and women's ice hockey games as we celebrate our Winter Community Day. The event was spearheaded and organized by Trinity's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Trinity men's basketball tips off against Bates College at 7 p.m. in Oosting Gymnasium, while women's ice hockey faces Bowdoin College at 7:30 p.m. in the Koeppel Community Sports Center. Admission to all Trinity home athletic contests this winter is free to all! SAAC members will be in attendance handing out Community Day wristbands and free food, donated by Chartwells, to Hartford residents while supplies lasts.
"SAAC has decided to have Community Days to engage and interact with Hartford residents," said Jacob Borgida '23, a SAAC President. "It is important to have a relationship with the community and we look forward to welcoming our neighbors to campus this weekend to help cheer on our sports teams."
