AMHERST, Mass. – #1 Women's Squash pegged Trinity's 17th consecutive New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship after downing Tufts University, 9-0 Sunday afternoon.
Against Williams University the Bantams did not waiver on the hardwood as they flew past the Ephs, 9-0. Trinity's top nine denied each opponent a match point, sweeping nine consecutive individual matches 3-0. #1 Women's Squash advanced to the finals to go head-to-head against Tufts University.
Bantams continued their reign on the hardwood as they flew past the Jumbos sweeping 8 out of the 9 matches! Tufts recorded one individual match point in the battle between Bantams Lulu Palacios Benitas and Jumbos Sanjana Vissapragada with a second set score of 11-9.
