HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Men's Swimming and Diving team competed at the four day New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship over the weekend hosted by Colby College. The Bantams finished eleventh overall with 5 top-10 finishes across the lanes.
From the diving platform sophomore Owen Schmidt received a score of 247.35 in the 1M dive and a tally of 295.30 in the 3M placing 10th in the preliminaries for both events.
The Bantams Men's 200 Freestyle relay team of Ben Broxson, Atticus Chang, Ernesto Solana, Dillon McDermott placed 10th in the championship finals with a time of 1:26.72.
In the 400 Yard Medley Relay Bantams' team of Matthew Brown, Chang, McDermott, and Broxson outlasted the other teams finishing 10th overall within the lanes.
The team of Brown, Chang, McDermott, and Broxson continued to be successful in the water and placed 10th in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:35.38 to wrap up the weekend of events for the Trinity Swimming and Diving team.
