SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Trinity College Wrestling squad returned to action at the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Futures Tournament, hosted at Western New England University, Sunday afternoon.
First-year Daniel Echeverria logged a trio of wins en route to a second-place finish in the 141-pound class. First-year Tucker Vician advanced to the Round of 16 in the 165-pound class, and then grabbed two wins in the consolation bracket. Junior Dylan Sofield, and first-years Nolan Sharp and Connor Tuttle advanced to the Round of 16, while Patrick Manswell and first-year Lukas Cylwik notched wins in the consolation bracket.
