Carrozza and Frost Earn All-Region at NCAA DIII Regional Northeast

WORCESTER, Mass.- Over the weekend of March 2nd and 3rd, Trinity's Wrestling team competed in the NCAA Northeast Regional competition, with two wrestlers making it to the final day of competition.

Sophomore (133 Weight Class) Matthew Carozza collected two back-to-back wins over Norwich by fall and Williams College by decision. The sophomore was bested by a fall in the quarterfinal round by Coast Guard's Chase Randall. Carrozza continued to battle in the consolation round 4 and 5 where he went 1-1. In the championship final, Carrozza was defeated by major decision at the hands of NYU's Taisei Karuchi and ended up with an eighth-place finish.

Also placing at regionals was senior Adam Frost after falling in the quarterfinals championship bracket in the 174-pound class. Frost earned three straight victories by fall, major decision, and sudden victory before being bested by decision against Roger Williams' Jayden Curley which earned him third place.
