Box Score NORTHAMPTON, Mass. — The Trinity women's tennis team, back in action inside the Smith College Field House on Wednesday afternoon for the first time this spring. The Bantams were bested in doubles, but swept in their singles matches collecting six straight wins to surpass the Pioneers 6-3 for the final.
Senior Josephine Kimball, senior Angelina Shyltsyna, junior Ella Baker, sophomore Allie Francis, sophomore Elise Brennan, and first year Naisha Rathi accounted for the Trinity's singles victories. Rathi went on to clinch the Bantams 6-3 victory after downing her opponent with set scores of 6-1 and 6-2, leaving little crumbs behind.
The Bantams are back in action on Tuesday, March 12, starting a three-day slate in Orlando, Fla. beginning with a match against Ithaca College at 8:30AM.
