NEW LONDON, Conn. - It was a hard-fought victory for the Bantams, who rallied back from a 2-1 deficit after doubles against the Conn. College Camels.
The match was leveled at 4-4, with Ella Baker staging an impressive comeback after being one set up but trailing 2-5 in the second set. Baker fought back to take the second set 7-5 and secure the match victory.
The winning point came from Elise Brennan, who battled through a tough first set tiebreaker. Brennan then won five consecutive games to claim the second set 7-5, clinching the overall team victory for the Bantams!
Trinity won 4-of-the-6 singles matches including victories from Angelina Shyltsyna (6-1,6-4) and Madison Bolig (6-2,6-3).
