NEW YORK, NY – The Trinity College Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field teams competed at the Ramapo College Season Opener at the Armory Track in New York, N.Y., on Friday morning.
Top Performers for the Bantams:
- Zoe Maggioni finished third in the Women's 5000m with a personal record time of 19:49.09.
- Savannah Cece placed in the top 10 in the Women's 60m Hurdles prelims.
- Jillian Strynar took 6th place in the Women's 60m prelims and finished 4th overall in the 60m finals. She also competed in the Women's 200m, placing in the top 3 with a personal best of 25.73, ranking 29th in the NCAA DIII.
- Sam Benham posted a personal record of 4:25.64 in the Men's One Mile, securing a top 10 finish. He is currently ranked 63rd in the NCAA DIII.
- Zuri Johnson set a personal best in the Men's 200m with a time of 22.09, ranking 28th in the NCAA DIII.
- Donovan Koukal-Kollie finished 7th in the Men's Triple Jump with a personal record distance of 13.58m, now ranked 34th in the NCAA DIII.
- Lauren Grattan set a personal best in the Women's High Jump with a height of 1.57m, ranking 32nd in the NCAA DIII.
- Jamie Tolk tied for 6th in the Women's Pole Vault, clearing 2.70m.
The Trinity College Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field teams will next compete at the New England Small College Invite hosted by Middlebury College on Sunday, January 26th, beginning at 9 AM at the Track at New Balance in Boston, Mass.
