Dear Bantam Softball Community,
Trinity's student-athlete experience goes far beyond the classroom and the field. From the moment I stepped onto campus during my sophomore year of high school, I knew that Trinity was the place for me, a place where I could thrive both academically and athletically. It was immediately clear to me that Trinity softball was more than just a team; it was a welcoming environment that fostered growth—not only as a player but also as a person.
The unwavering support from our coaching staff, strength and conditioning coach, athletic trainers, and academic liaisons show how they are truly committed to our personal and professional growth and well-being. Whether it is adjusting our athletic schedules to accommodate for career events, supporting study abroad aspirations, or encouraging us to attend networking events, they go above and beyond to help us succeed both on and off of the field.
I have had the privilege of forming meaningful relationships by immersing myself in on- and off- campus activities, including the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, Student Investment Fund, and an internship, all while balancing my academic and athletic responsibilities. One of the most unique opportunities I have had during my time at Trinity was studying abroad at its Rome Campus. It was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to expand my global view, explore new cultures, and further develop as a person.
I would not trade my experience as a Trinity student-athlete for anything. From our annual spring break trips to Florida, overnight hotel trips, team dinners, and quality time with my teammates, each moment has created memories I will always cherish. These experiences have not only strengthened our team's connection on the field but also have enriched my athletic journey in ways that will carry with me for a lifetime.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our alumni, families, and friends. Your generosity provides the resources that enable us to compete to the best of our abilities while enhancing the overall student-athlete experience.
