HARTFORD, Conn. - Trinity Athletics Giving Week is a special occasion for our student-athletes, staff, and faculty to come together and witness the incredible support our athletic programs receive from the alumni community. The generosity shown by our donors plays a crucial role in creating a sense of belonging for our current student-athletes, providing them with a home that fosters success both on all playing surfaces and in the classroom.
Trinity College is home to 30 athletic programs and over 700 student-athletes, and we are privileged to share 30 heartfelt letters—one from each of our teams—expressing gratitude for the vital role our donors play in their athletic and academic journeys.
The impact of this support is immeasurable. The contributions from our Bantam family over the years have enabled our teams to reach new heights of success. From the electric atmosphere of the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight match-ups at Stan Ogrinick Court in Oosting Gymnasium, to the thrilling championship game at the 2024 NCAA DIII Men's Ice Hockey Tournament at the Koeppel Community Sports Center on William Creighton Ice, our teams continue to break records and inspire pride. Our athletes also brought home the 2024 NCAA Women's Rowing Championship hardware and the Collegiate Squash Association National Champions, led by our 2024 Women's Squash team.
These moments of triumph are a direct result of the unwavering support from our alumni and donors. Your investment in Trinity Athletics has allowed our programs to grow into a competitive force in NCAA Division III sports. Our teams proudly compete in some of the nation's most respected conferences, including the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA), the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA), and the College Squash Association (CSA).
To all our donors—thank you. Your support ensures that Trinity College Athletics remains a place where excellence thrives, and our student-athletes continue to excel in all aspects of their college experience. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and look forward to building on this success together in the years to come.

"Our team camaraderie and success stems from a large part of those who have provided us the opportunity to do all the things we do as a team. Our team has high-quality branded gear for practice and competition. I love when I wear my Trinity gear away from campus and people come up to me saying they went there or had a son or daughter who went there, and how much they loved Trinity. It reminds me of the everlasting effect the school has. I know 20 years from now I will still follow the golf program and hopefully be fortunate enough to support them." | Read Full Letter
