Dear Trinity Women's Golf Community, 

Over the past four years, I have had the privilege to play on the Women's Golf Team at Trinity. When I joined the team as a first year, it was still new. Watching the team grow in size and in talent over the past four years has been so much fun. We have had amazing opportunities to play some of the top courses in the country and compete at a high level of competition at tournaments. Overall, the golf team has been a formative aspect of my Trinity experience. 

Golf is one of the few sports on campus that competes in both the fall and spring semesters. Transitioning from high school to college is difficult enough. But to hit the ground running with classes and a weekend tournament my first week on campus as a freshman was challenging. However, the upperclassmen on the team went out of their way to include me and the other first years to help ease the transition. Whether it was a Bistro dinner after practice or a late night study session Sunday night after a tournament, the bond between teammates was always present. Now, as an upperclassman, I try to pay it forward and act as a supportive outlet for the younger players on the team on and off the course.  

Trinity alumni have genuinely embraced our team and made my experience extremely special. Over my four years, our team has been fortunate enough to go on a spring break trip to West Palm Beach, Florida. While this is another strong team bonding event, it is also an amazing opportunity to connect with Trinity alumni and other Trinity coaches. We have been able to play at some of the top courses in the area and that wouldn't be possible without generous alumni support. 

The Trinity Women's Golf program is growing because of the support of Trinity faculty, parents, alumni, and friends. I am so thankful for the many opportunities that Trinity has provided to me, many of which have come directly from the encouragement and support of my coach and teammates.  

Over the past two summers, I have been fortunate to connect with amazing Trinity alumni through internships, where many of our conversations naturally centered around our shared love for golf. Many alumni express how excited they are for the future of Trinity Women's Golf. I speak for my whole team when I thank you for your continued support and for keeping our program in mind. Every text, donation, and supportive measure means the world to us and helps continue our program's legacy, and we could not do it without you!
