Penalty Kick Goal Sinks Men's Soccer at UHart, 1-0

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Men's Soccer team was dealt a 1-0 defeat at the hands of host University of Hartford during a non-conference match at Al-Marzook Field Sunday afternoon. The Bantams move to 3-6-2 on the season, while the Hawks improve to 6-5-1 overall.
 
What Happened:
  • In the 68th minute of play, the Bantams defense was whistled for a foul inside the box, resulting in a penalty kick for the Hawks. On the ensuing attempt, Austin Murawksi placed a shot past Trinity keeper Nate Dyott, sending Hartford to the 1-0 win.
 
Inside the Numbers:
  • The Bantams dominated the shot column, 14-5, with Trinity putting three shots on frame.
  • Trinity held the edge in corner kicks, 7-3, while Hartford received more foul calls, 16-10.
  • Dyott made one save for the Bantams, while Hartford goalie Ryann Lunn made a match-high three saves.
