Box Score HARTFORD, Conn. – The 14
th-ranked Trinity College Men's Ice Hockey team blanked visiting Wesleyan University, 5-0, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) tilt at the Koeppel Community Sports Center Friday night. The Bantams rise to15-6-2 overall and 11-4-2 in the NESCAC, while the Cardinals dip to 5-11-1 in league play and 6-14-3 on the season.

Aidan D'Urso logged his first career multi-goal game with a pair of goals, while Griffin and first-years
Ryan Panico and
Ty Broad. McInnis and first-year
Culin Wilson notched a pair of assists each.

The Bantams grabbed an early lead as first-year Weston Tuner kept the puck in the Cardinals zone, chipping it into a crowd of Wesleyan defenders, where Panico gathered and sniped the loose puck over the shoulder of Cardinals first-year goaltender Patrick McDevitt to hand Trinity the 1-0 lead less than three minutes into the first period.

Less than three minutes later, the Bantams struck again as D'Urso put back a rebound off a saved shot from first-year
Culin Wilson, pushing the lead to 2-0. With just over five minutes remaining in the period, Griffin tucked a shot on net from the goal line that ricocheted off McDevitt to set the score at 3-0. Trinity had a chance to make it a four-goal game late in the period, but McDevitt made a slick post-to-post save, denying an attempt from Boysen.

After nearly 40 minutes of scoreless play, the Bantams potted a pair of goals in the final three minutes of play from D'Urso and Broad to seal the 5-0 victory.

The Bantams dominated the shot column, 39-25, while the Cardinals took the edge in the face-off circle, 28-25. Trinity junior goalie
Devon Bobak registered his second shutout of the season with 26 saves, while McDevitt stopped a game-high 34 shots for Wesleyan.

The Bantams and Cardinals will return to the ice Saturday afternoon for a rematch at Spurrier-Snyder Rink for a 3:00 p.m. puck drop.
