Women's Indoor Track & Field Competed in Cupid Challenge

MEDFORD, Mass. – The Trinity College Women's and Men's Indoor Track and Field teams competed at the two-day Cupid Challenge hosted by Tufts University on Friday, February 7th, and Saturday, February 8th.

Standout Performances from the Bantams:

  • Savannah Cece earned a 3rd place finish in the women's 60-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 9.66 seconds.
  • Phoebe Kinnell clocked in at 11.04 seconds in the women's 60-meter hurdles, securing 11th place overall.
  • Nolan McKenna took 3rd place in the men's 600-meter dash with a time of 1:23.08.
  • Jenna Najjar finished 8th in the women's 600-meter dash with a time of 1:41.80 and 9th in the women's 200-meter dash with a time of 27.02.
  • Jillian Strynar claimed first place in both the women's 60-meter dash (7.66 seconds) and the women's 200-meter dash (25.82 seconds).
  • In the men's 200-meter dash, Bantams Arinze Okigbo and Charlie Young placed in the top 10. Okigbo finished 7th with a time of 23.01 seconds, followed by Young in 9th with a time of 23.32 seconds.

The Bantams will next travel to Boston University for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston, Mass., on Friday, February 14th, starting at 9:00 AM.
