Box Score 2 HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Softball team fell to host University of Hartford in a non-conference doubleheader Wednesday afternoon. The Bantams move to 10-22 on the season, while the Hawks sit at 21-16-1 overall.

Game 1: Hartford 6, Trinity 1
The Bantams plated the first run of the game as
Taylor Mikolajczak drew a bases loaded walk, bringing home
Makenna True to hand Trinity a 1-0 lead in the top of the second. The Hawks scored three runs in the bottom of the frame behind a solo home run from Olivia Wolk and RBI knocks from Bridget Bernard and Sarah Serrano to take a 3-1 lead.

Wolk struck again in the top of the third, launching a two-run home run to extend the Hartford lead to 5-1. The Hawks plated their final run on an RBI groundout in the sixth inning en route to the 6-1 win.

True went 2-for-3 with a run scored, while
Erin Steed and
Emily Goddard each added hits.

Game 2: Hartford 12, Trinity 4
After a pair of scoreless innings, the Hawks broke things open with five runs in the third. Alexis Sealey belted a three-run home run, followed by an RBI hits from Lucy Lembo and Azya Walker, to put Hartford ahead 5-0.

Trailing 6-0 in the sixth inning, the Bantams chipped away at the deficit as
Kennedy Rogers slapped an RBI double through the left side, and then True delivered an RBI single. With two runners on,
Mikayla O'Brien ripped a base clearing triple down the left field line to set the score at 6-4. Hartford erupted for six runs in the sixth to pull away to the 12-4 win.

O'Brien and Rogers drove in runs for Trinity, while Steed tallied a pair of hits. Mikolajczak added a double and a stolen base.

The Bantams will be back on the diamond when they travel to Bowdoin College (17-17, 4-10 NESCAC) for a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) doubleheader to close out the 2025 regular season on Saturday. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
