Johnson, Koukal-Kollie Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

| By:
HARTFORD, Conn. – Two members of the Trinity College Men's Track and Field program were recognized as U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Outdoor Track and Field All-Region honorees, announced Wednesday.

Junior Zuri Johnson (Powder Springs, Ga.) and sophomore Donovan Koukal-Kollie (Suffield, Conn.) received All-Region status. Johnson collects his third straight outdoor All-Region honor, pairing a 200 Meter selection with back-to-back 400 Meter honors in 2023 & 2024. Johnson is the first All-Region selection in the 200 Meter since Kai Ballin in 2022, and the fourth runner since 2016 to receive All-Region status in the event, joining Alex Tomcho (2016), Robert Allen (2021) and Ballin. This season, Johnson became the school's record holder in the 200 Meter Dash (21.33) and was a member of the record-breaking 4x100 Relay (41.99) and 4x400 Relay (3:18.05) teams.

Donovan garnered his first outdoor All-Region selection in the Triple Jump event, becoming the second Bantam to earn All-Region status, joining Kinnard Hughes (2021-22), and is the first sophomore in program history to be tabbed as All-Region in the Triple Jump.
