Men's Lacrosse NCAA Division III Championship First Round Preview

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Men's Lacrosse team will open their run at the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship with a tilt against host Farmingdale State College at Rams Field Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
 
Bantam Bytes
  • Trinity closed the regular season with a 8-7 record, including a 3-7 mark in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).
  • The Bantams are making the program's second-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament, and their first since 2012 when Trinity advanced to the Second Round.
  • The Bantams have dropped five of their last six games entering the postseason.
  • Offensively, Trinity is averaging 10.23 goals per game on 41.7 shots per game, while allowing 10.53 goals on 46.1 shots by opponents.
  • The Bantams are collecting 28.6 groundballs per game, caused 108 turnovers and own a 44.6 win percentage in the faceoff circle.
  • Bo Page leads the Bantams offense with a team-high 49 points on a team-high 34 goals with 15 assists and 30 groundballs.

  • Miles Harvey chipped in 18 goals, while Jake Connors and Connor Sullivan have potted 13 goals apiece.
  • Goalkeeper Jordan Opdahl was a NESCAC Second Team All-Conference selection after posting a career-high in Save Percentage (.594), Goals Against Average (10.83) and Saves (231). Opdahl led the NESCAC in Saves and Saves per Game (15.4), while ranking second in Save Percentage and eighth in Goals Against Average.
 
Scouting the Rams
  • Farmingdale State holds a 16-3 record with a 6-1 standing in the Skyline Conference.
  • The Rams won their second straight Skyline Conference Championship with a 14-7 win over Merchant Marine.
  • Farmingdale State is generating 15.58 goals per game on 44.26 shots per game, while limiting opponents to 7.0 goals per game on 32.57 shots per game.
  • The Rams are grabbing 34.8 groundballs per game and creating 10.8 turnovers per game with .577 win percentage in the faceoff circle.
  • Farmingdale State has four scorers with 67 or more points on the season, led by Adam Giovinco with a team-high 74 points with 39 goals and a team-high 35 assists.
  • Kamryn Gil has totaled 73 points with 45 goals and 28 assists, while Thomas Stock owns 72 points with 43 goals and 29 assists.
  • Andrew Giovinco has scored a team-high 46 goals with 21 assists en route to Skyline Offensive Player of the Year honors, and Thomas Mai has tallied 34 goals on the season.
  • Antonio Kaminskey leads the Rams with a team-high 118 groundballs and .593 win percentage on faceoffs.
  • Goalkeeper Dan Erler was the Skyline Defensive Player of the Year, ranking seventh in the nation in goals against average (7.69) and 29th in save percentage (.588) with 153 total saves.
 
History
  • The First Round game will be the first meeting between the Bantams and Rams in program history.
  • In 2025, the two teams played one common opponent, Western Connecticut State. Trinity defeated WestConn, 10-4, while the Rams edged the Wolves, 13-12.
