HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College women's soccer team and visiting #13 Middlebury College battled to a 0-0 draw in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action on Trinity Soccer Field Saturday morning. It marked the third scoreless tie between the two programs since 2008. Both teams now stand at 3-0-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the NESCAC.

What Happened:

• The Bantams spread their attack across the lineup, with shots coming from Taylore Troskey (2), Maggie Hyder, Kyra Charette, Elsa Duetsch, Elena Lindonen, Sara Rieger, and Emma Almoney.

• Sophomore goalkeeper Lily Bracken anchored the defense with a strong 90-minute effort, turning away five shots to secure the shutout. 

Inside the Numbers:

• Middlebury outshot Trinity, 21-8, with a 5-4 edge in shots on goal.

• Trinity held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.

• Both sides were whistled for nine fouls.

Up Next:
The Bantams return to action on Wednesday, September 17, when they host Salve Regina in a 5:30 p.m. non-conference matchup at Trinity Soccer Field. It will mark the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
