Johnson Leads Trinity to Third-Place Finish at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College men's cross country team competed in the 52nd UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday morning, earning a third-place finish in the sub-varsity race.

What Happened:
Sophomore Tyler Johnson paced the Bantams, finishing 13th overall with a time of 26:03.10. Classmate Jack Blanchard (19th, 26:32.89) and first-year Evan Small (25th, 26:57.19) also cracked the top 25.

Trinity placed several more runners in the top 50, including juniors Dolan Pols, Alex Willard, and TJ Sparno, sophomores Brendan Burm, first-years Mark Kanner, and Brendan Nolan.

The Bantams return to action on Friday, October 3, traveling to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University at 9:30 a.m.
