Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – The Trinity College Field Hockey team fell to host Worcester Poly, 2-1, in a non-conference match at H. Carr Field at Alumni Stadium Wednesday night. The Bantams move to 2-4 on the season, while the Engineers rise to 6-2 overall.

What Happened:
- The Bantams secured an early lead in the 11th minute as sophomore Claire Griffith dished the ball across the circle, finding junior Brooke DiBiase for the finish to hand Trinity the 1-0 advantage.
- After nearly 40 minutes of scoreless play, the Engineers evened the score as senior Abbey Powers pick-pocketed a Bantam defender and chipped shot past senior goalkeeper Hayley Gable to knot the game at 1-1.
- Less than two minutes later, WPI grabbed a 2-1 lead as senior Arie Lang put back a blocked shot in the 54th minute.

- The Engineers outshot the Bantams, 17-11, during the contest, while Trinity held the edge in shots on goal, 9-8.
- Gable posted a game-high eight saves for the Bantams, while sophomore Myles Lakin notched seven saves for the Engineers.
