WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Trinity College Football team rallied from a pair of seven-point deficits to defeat host Williams College, 34-28, in overtime, at Farley-Lamb Field Saturday afternoon. The Bantams improve to 2-1 on the season, while the Ephs dip to 2-1 overall.

What Happened:
- After forcing a pair of Williams punts, the Bantams executed a 13-play, 80-yard drive, capped by a six-yard touchdown run from junior Jack Tosone to stake Trinity to a 7-0 lead.
- Senior Nolan O'Brien ripped off a 57-yard punt return to set Trinity up at the Williams 28-yard line with 1:18 remaining in the first quarter. O'Brien followed with a 24-yard run on first down, and then five plays later, O'Brien found paydirt from a yard out to help extend the Bantams lead to 14-0.
- The Ephs responded on the following drive as Owen Johansen scrambled for a 52-yard gain on second down to move Williams to the Trinity 21-yard line. On third-and-2 at the Bantam 2-yard line, Johansen connected with Jimmy Montesano to trim the deficit to 14-7.
- On their opening drive of the second half, Williams evened the score with a six-play, 80-yard drive, punctuated with a 12-yard connection to Montesano to knot things at 14-14.
- The fourth quarter featured a combined 28 points on four straight touchdowns from both teams, beginning with two-yard touchdown run from Jon Oris at the 14:11 mark to put Williams ahead 21-14.
- Trinity answered with a five-play, 75-yard drive, featuring a 32-yard pass to Ben Banatao and a 29-yard pass to O'Brien. Following a 16-yard reception from Tyler DiNapoli, O'Brien took a sweep from four yards out to even the score at 21-21.
- With less than 11 minutes remaining, the Ephs regained the lead as Johansen connected with Zach Falls on a 73-yard touchdown to give Williams the 28-21 advantage.
- On the subsequent drive, Trinity rallied again behind a crucial third-down scramble from Jaxon Carroll and a 59-yard completion to Darison Hooper to move the Bantams to the Ephs four-yard line. DiNapoli broke the goal line three plays later to tie the game at 28-28.
- The defenses stood firm over the final eight minutes to force overtime.
- On the opening play of bonus time, junior Ethan Krauss forced a fumble on Johansen to halt the Ephs attempt.
- On their first play from scrimmage, Carroll found Darison Hooper on a corner route inside the pylon to send Trinity to the 34-28 victory.

- Oris logged 57 yards on 15 totes with a touchdown.
- Falls tallied a game-high 165 yards on five receptions with a score, while Montesano had a game-high seven catches for 76 yards and two touchdowns.
- Defensively, Lincoln Moore anchored the Bantams defense with a game-high 12 tackles, while Krauss and Shane Mosia added 10 tackles apiece.
