HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity College Football junior Lincoln Moore (Foxborough, Mass.) was selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week, announced by the site on Tuesday. Moore becomes the first Bantam to receive Team of the Week honors since Spencer Donahue on November 8, 2016.

Moore anchored the Bantams' defense, logging a career-high 13 tackles, including a career-high nine solo stops, with a pair of pass breakups in a 37-6 win against Hamilton. In the NESCAC, Moore ranks fifth in the conference in total tackles (33) and tackles per game (8.33). As a unit, the Bantams rank second in the nation in total defense (180.2) and scoring defense, limiting opponents to 5.0 points per game, while leading the nation in first downs allowed (39). Trinity ranks third in opponent passing efficiency (85.69) and fourth-down defense (.125), ninth in rushing defense (47.8), 12th in passing yards allowed (132.5), and 12th in third-down defense.

Moore and the Bantams will look to push their win streak to five games when they travel to Tufts University (3-1) for a NESCAC battle at Zimman Field on Saturday, October 17 at 1:30 p.m. All-time, Trinity holds a 48-19-1 record against the Jumbos, dating back to their first meeting in 1912. The Bantams are riding a five-game winning streak versus Tufts, outscoring the Jumbos, 195-108, during that span.
