HADLEY, Mass. – Juniors
Marlo Simms (Decatur, Ga.) and
Avery Marzo (Shrewbury, Mass.) were tabbed as New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Basketball All-Conference Second Team , announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Simms claims her first All-Conference honor after delivering career-highs in points (283), rebounds (272), field goal percentage (.527) field goals made (126), assists (19) and blocks (17). Simms was the lone player in the NESCAC to average a double-double on the season, posting 11.9 points and a league-high 11.3 rebounds per game. Simms ranks fourth all-time in single-season rebounds, and fifth all-time in single-season rebounding average. The junior logged 14 double-doubles on the season, fourth-most in a season in program history.
Marzo posted career-highs in points (311), rebounds (121), field goals made (113), field goal percentage (.436), three-point field goals made (34), three-point field goal percentage (.366), assists (46) and steals (37) en route to her first All-Conference nod. Marzo ranked in the Top 15 in the NESCAC in scoring, field goal percentage, three-point field goals made, and steals. Marzo notched a career-high 25 points with a career-high 10 rebounds in a victory over The College of New Jersey.
The Bantams finished the 2025-26 campaign with a 16-9 record, including a 5-5 mark in NESCAC play. Trinity fell to Williams, 75-55, in the Quarterfinals of the NESCAC Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.
