HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity College women's squash team garnered three CSA All-Americans, three First-Team All-NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference) selections, one Second-Team All-NESCAC selection, along with Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year nods.
The CSA announced Friday (April 17) a solo All-America First-Team honoree in first-year Thanusaa Uthrian, with second-team status awarded to seniors Kara Lincou and Hannah Chukwu.
All-NESCAC First-Team status was awarded to seniors Fabiola Cabello, Hannah Chukwu, and Kara Lincou, along with a second-team nod to junior Varvara Esina. The Bantams' first-year Uthrian claimed Rookie of the Year honors, while Kara Lincou earned Player of the Year.
Lincou became the 16th player in program history to receive NESCAC Player of the Year and earned her third NESCAC all-conference selection, making her the seventh in program history to earn NESCAC honors three times in a career, and her first First-Team honor (2024 second team, 2025 second team). Lincou finishes her collegiate run with a 59-12 career record and a season mark of 18-4, landing her in a 13-way tie for 11th in single-season wins.
Chukwu wrapped up her campaign as the 12th player in program history to earn CSA All-American status three times in her career with the Bantams. The senior from Tatabanya, Hungary tallied four NESCAC All-Conference honors, marking her as the 10th in program history to garner four all-conference selections in a career (2025 second team, 2024 second team, 2023 second team). Chukwu registered a season record of 12-5 with a career total of 61-8, placing her in a three-way tie for 10th in career wins in program history alongside co-graduate Fabiola Cabello.
Cabello wrapped up her Trinity women's squash career with First-Team NESCAC All-Conference honors, marking her second all-conference selection after earning second-team status in 2024. Cabello finishes with a career record of 61-11 and a season mark of 16-2.
Esina makes her first appearance on the NESCAC All-Conference team in her junior season after recording a 9-7 record and a 29-9 career mark.
Uthrian posted an 11-10 rookie season, including an impressive CSA Individual Championship run to the quarterfinals. Uthrian is the 14th player in program history to earn All-American status as a first-year, and the seventh to earn First-Team All-American honors in a rookie season. Uthrian capped her first year with Rookie of the Year honors, marking the eighth in program history, following Chukwu, who received it in 2023.
The Trinity College women's squash team finished the 2025-26 season 16-5, falling in the CSA National Team Championship in the quarterfinals to Harvard University. The Bantams went on to win the consolation bracket, downing Yale and the University of Virginia in the finals.
