Third Round Bound: No.10 Trinity Meets No.8 Pomona-Pitzer at Wesleyan This Weekend

HARTFORD, Conn. – The No. 10 Trinity women's lacrosse team has advanced to the third round of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament, hosted by NESCAC member Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn.

Wesleyan will host three games this weekend, beginning with a matchup between No. 2 Wesleyan and No. 21 UChicago at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16. The second game of the day will feature No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer against Trinity at 2 p.m. The winners of Saturday's games will meet in the Round of 16 on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Trinity earned its spot in the third round following a 12-7 victory over No. 17 Franklin & Marshall on Sunday, May 10. The Bantams are making their first appearance in the third round of the NCAA Tournament since 2023, when they faced Salisbury in a 9-8 nail-biter.

SATURDAY, MAY 16
    Game 1
    11:30 a.m. – Wesleyan vs. UChicago
    Game 2
    2 p.m. – Trinity vs. Pomona-Pitzer

SUNDAY, MAY 17
    2 p.m. – Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2
