HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College women's lacrosse team had five members of its squad earn 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Region (Berkshire Region) honors, as announced by the office on Friday afternoon (May 15).
First Team recognition was awarded to seniors Samantha Hark and Grace Denious, along with sophomore Emily Ambrozy, while senior Kaeley Zito and junior Kelsey Restivo earned Second Team honors.
Hark becomes the 10th player in program history to receive three consecutive First Team honors and the 16th to garner three consecutive all-region recognitions. The senior defender recorded career highs with 31 ground balls and 51 caused turnovers, tying for the fifth-most in a single season in program history alongside Liz Bruno '10. She also ranked second in the conference, averaging 3.0 caused turnovers per game. The senior captain started all 17 games this season, bringing her career total to 72 starts in 72 appearances. Hark reached two major career milestones, totaling 105 ground balls and 128 caused turnovers. Her caused turnover mark ranks fifth all-time in program history, surpassing Rebecca Sullivan '04 (123) and trailing Maria Lingnau '03 (144).
Denious, Zito, Restivo, and Ambrozy earned their first All-Region honors. After a gritty season, the Bantams were led by the seniors and junior on offense, with all three tallying 30 goals, while both Denious and Restivo dished out 23 assists each this season. Zito leads the team with 42 draw controls, adding 29 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers this season. Ambrozy has registered a team-high 49 ground balls this season, along with 30 caused turnovers and 13 draw controls.
Denious ranks eighth and Restivo ranks ninth in the NESCAC for assists per game, both averaging 1.28 per game. Ambrozy is second in the conference with an average of 2.82 ground balls per game and ranks sixth in the NESCAC for caused turnovers per game with a 1.76 average. Hark is second in the conference for caused turnovers per game, averaging 3.06.
The Bantams enter the Sweet 16 of the 2026 Women's Lacrosse National Championship, where they will meet No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. on Smith Field at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn.
