HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College women's lacrosse team had four members of its squad earn 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon (May 5).
First Team recognition was awarded to seniors Samantha Hark and Grace Denious, while junior Kelsey Restivo and sophomore Emily Ambrozy earned Second Team honors.
A standout on defense, Hark earned her third consecutive All-Conference selection, collecting her first First Team honor following a dominant senior campaign. She recorded career highs with 31 ground balls and 51 caused turnovers, tying for fifth-most in a single season in program history alongside Liz Bruno '10. She also ranked second in the conference, averaging 3.0 caused turnovers per game. The senior captain started all 17 games this season, bringing her career total to 72 starts in 72 appearances. Hark reached two major career milestones, totaling 105 ground balls and 128 caused turnovers. Her caused turnover mark ranks fifth all-time in program history, surpassing Rebecca Sullivan '04 (123) and trailing Maria Lingnau '03 (144).
Denious earned her first All-Conference honor after a standout offensive season for the Bantams, posting career highs across the board with 29 goals, 22 assists, 26 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers, and 30 draw controls. The senior started all 17 games this season and has made 47 starts in 68 career appearances. Denious ranks ninth in the NESCAC in assists per game (1.29) and 20th in goals per game (1.71).
Restivo garnered her first All-Conference honor in her junior campaign, posting strong offensive numbers with 29 goals, 23 assists, and 23 ground balls. The attacker recorded a .436 shooting percentage and a .677 shots-on-goal percentage. Restivo ranks 12th in the conference in points per game (3.06) and 20th in shots per game (3.82).
Ambrozy provided a strong defensive presence for the Bantams this season, totaling 42 ground balls, 25 caused turnovers, and 11 draw controls. The sophomore earned her first All-Conference honor after appearing in 16 games with 15 starts.
The Bantams finished the regular season with an 11-4 overall record and placed fourth in the conference with a 7-3 mark in NESCAC play. In the NESCAC Tournament, Trinity defeated No. 5 Amherst College in the quarterfinals before falling to No. 1 Middlebury College in the semifinals.
Trinity enters the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship ranked No. 10 nationally and will host opening-round games. The Bantams welcome Franklin & Marshall and Neumann University for first-round action on Saturday, May 9. On Sunday, May 10, Trinity will face the winner of that matchup.
