Jason Tarnow Accepts Position at John Carroll

HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity College Director of Athletics Gavin Viano has announced that Trinity Coach Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Jason Tarnow has accepted the head coaching position at John Carroll University, effective Monday, June 15.

"Trinity Athletics would like to thank Jason for the past nine years of service as our men's lacrosse coach," said Viano. "His efforts at the College have lifted the profile of our program to a new level. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors, and we are thankful for his contributions to Bantam Lacrosse."

Tarnow helmed the Bantams to a 58-61 overall record during his nine-year tenure at Trinity College. The Bantams logged a 24-51 record in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) play, including three appearances in the NESCAC Championship Tournament. Tarnow guided the Bantams to NCAA Division III Championship Tournament Second Round appearance in 2025. Tarnow coached five All-American selections, seven All-Region honorees, and nine NESCAC All-Conference selections. Off the field, the Bantams earned five College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, and 94 NESCAC Academic-All Conference selections.

Trinity Athletics will conduct a national search to fill the position immediately.
