HARTFORD, Conn. - The women's tennis team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for its outstanding performance in the classroom, earning ITA All-Academic Team honors for the 2025-26 academic year.

In addition to the team award, eight student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the academic year while meeting ITA eligibility requirements. Those recognized include Allie Francis, Elise Brennan, Naisha Rathi, Hellena Trojer, Phebe Fisher, Julia Clark, Brennan Damond and Kendall Cedar.

To earn ITA All-Academic Team recognition, programs must post a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.20 while meeting the association's eligibility requirements. The ITA Scholar-Athlete designation recognizes individual student-athletes who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the academic year.
