HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Field Hockey team will enter a new era in 2026 as the Bantams welcome head coach Taylor Dyer to the sidelines. Trinity returns a veteran group featuring six seniors and several key contributors from last season, while welcoming eight first-years to the program. The Bantams will open their 2026 campaign against the No. 1 nationally ranked Tufts University on Saturday, Sept. 5^th at 7PM on Ounjian Field in Medford, Mass.

Bantam Bytes

• Last season, Trinity logged a 3-12 record with a 1-9 mark in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) play. The Bantams finished the season with 19 goals and 10 assists while recording 139 shots, 67 shots on goal, and 66 penalty corners.
• Trinity averaged 9.3 shots and 1.27 goals per game during the 2025 season while limiting opponents to 15.5 shots and 2.67 goals per game. The Bantams recorded a .482 shots-on-goal percentage and a .137 shooting percentage.
• The Bantams return six seniors, including Brooke DiBiase, who led Trinity offensively in 2025. DiBiase started all 15 games and led the team with six goals, 13 points, and 35 shots while recording two game-winning goals and adding one assist. Fiona Murphy started all 14 games in which she appeared last season and finished 2025 with one goal and two assists for four points while contributing nine shots and three shots on goal. Murphy also enters her senior season as a team captain. Nina Falkson appeared in 13 games, including nine starts, and recorded one goal and one assist while adding 12 shots, seven shots on goal, and one game-winning goal. Gracie Bookbinder, Caroline Currie, and Tatum Stickney round out the senior class, bringing additional veteran experience to the Bantam midfield and lineup.
• Junior Claire Griffith returns after a breakout sophomore season in which she finished second on the team with seven points. Griffith recorded two goals and a team-best three assists while starting 10 of 14 games. She also registered 14 shots and nine shots on goal.
• Junior Alison Gerber returns to the Bantam defense after starting all 15 games in 2025. Gerber recorded two goals and one assist for five points while adding 13 shots and six shots on goal. She also contributed two defensive saves.
• Junior Aly Janssen returns after appearing in nine games last season, including two starts. Janssen scored two goals in Trinity's season-opening 4-3 victory at Smith, finishing the season with four points.
• Junior Lily Vincent returns after appearing in 11 games in 2025. Vincent recorded two goals and nine shots while scoring against Springfield and Babson.
• Junior Riley Harrington returns after appearing in 13 games last season and scoring her first collegiate goal in Trinity's 6-4 victory over Springfield.
• Junior Liette Letourneau, Julia Lambert, Skylar Stewart, Eva McKelvey, Anna Scott, Reagan Waldner, and Ella Cait Lisowski also return, bringing additional experience across the forward, midfield, and defensive units.
• Sophomores Lindsay Rogers, Ava DiPasquale, Clare Campbell, Olivia Keating, and Addie Bae Magruderreturn after gaining collegiate experience during their first seasons with the Bantams.
• In goal, Trinity welcomes first-year Addison Evangelious while returning junior Sydney Korkosz. Korkosz appeared in two games during the 2025 season, making one seven saves, allowing 3 goals.
• Trinity welcomes nine first-years and one transfer to the 2026 roster, including Blaire Brennan, Brynn Chaffee, Katherine Sheehan, Samantha Cassanelli, Bridget Pellicano, Olivia Marchelli, Addison Evangelious, and Sophie Watson adding a talented young group to a veteran Bantam roster.
• The Bantams will enter the 2026 season under the direction of Taylor Dyer, who becomes the eighth head coach in program history. Dyer arrives in Hartford after four seasons as the head coach at Gettysburg College, where she compiled a 29-40 record and guided six players to All-Centennial Conference honors and one to NFHCA All-Region recognition.
• Dyer also brings extensive NESCAC and Division I experience to Trinity. A two-time All-American at Tufts, including a 2010 First Team selection, Dyer was a three-time All-NESCAC First Team honoree and the 2010 NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year. Prior to Gettysburg, she spent six seasons on the Lehigh coaching staff, including four as associate head coach.
• The 2026 season marks a new chapter for Trinity Field Hockey as Dyer looks to build upon the program's traditions while developing a veteran Bantam roster that features 23 returning student-athletes and nine first-years.
