Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2022: Returning starter...played and started in all 19 games...posted 8 shutouts...received NESCAC All-Academic Team, 2022 CSC Division III Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team, and All-NESCAC First Team for her outstanding season.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2021: Posted a shutout with two saves in a scoreless tie at Colby...blanked Tufts in a 1-0 victory with two saves...NESCAC All-Academic Team.

BEFORE TRINITY: Two-year captain, four-time team MVP and all-conference selection, and an All-State honoree in high school...also played basketball and track and field in high school...played club soccer for the St. Paul Blackhawks.

PERSONAL: Enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe in Rosebud, SD... former member of Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Ensemble in Minneapolis...majoring in mechanical engineering...daughter of David and Andrea Cournoyer, and sister to Julia Cournoyer.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity because of its excellent academics, urban location, and competitive Division III athletics.
