2025 (SOPHOMORE)
Newhall continued to develop as a member of Trinity's linebacker corps, appearing in nine games according to the official Participation statistics. He finished the season with 15 tackles, including nine solo tackles and six assisted stops, while adding a career-high 4.5 tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries.
Newhall's most productive game came in Trinity's 45-3 victory over Bowdoin on Oct. 25, when he recorded two tackles, including a team-leading one tackle for loss totaling three yards.
He also contributed in Trinity's 49-0 shutout victory at Hamilton on Oct. 11, recording one assisted tackle. Newhall appeared in the Bantams' defensive rotation throughout the season as Trinity finished 7-2 overall and 7-2 in NESCAC play.
Newhall entered his sophomore campaign after being identified in Trinity's 2025 season preview as one of the young linebackers expected to contribute alongside Lincoln Moore and a veteran group led by Aaron Poawui, John Toyias, Brady McGowan and Shane Mosia.
