Krauss enjoyed another outstanding season as one of Trinity's leading linebackers, appearing in all nine games according to the official Participation statistics. He finished the season with 48 tackles, including 22 solo tackles and 26 assisted stops, while adding 5.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one pass breakup, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
Krauss was a consistent presence in the Bantams' defense throughout the season. He recorded 10 tackles against both Williams and Tufts, while adding a fumble recovery in Trinity's overtime victory at Williams.
Against Wesleyan on Nov. 8, Krauss recorded seven tackles, including a sack, and forced a fumble, helping Trinity secure a share of the NESCAC Championship with a 21-14 victory.
His performance earned him NESCAC Second Team All-Conference honors, his first career All-NESCAC selection. Krauss was one of two Trinity linebackers named to the conference's Second Team.
2024 (SOPHOMORE)
Krauss made an immediate impact during his first season of collegiate competition, appearing in nine games and starting one at linebacker. He led Trinity with 44 tackles, including 28 solo tackles and 16 assisted tackles, while adding 2.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble.
Krauss recorded a career-high 13 tackles at Middlebury on Oct. 19, including 11 solo stops. He also recorded a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss at Amherst, a sack against Wesleyan and an interception at Bates.
His interception against Bates was the first of his collegiate career, while his first career start came against Bowdoin on Oct. 26.
