Hanlon saw action as a first-year wide receiver for the Bantams, providing depth to a talented Trinity receiving corps… Entered the season as one of several first-year receivers expected to contribute behind Trinity's primary receiving group.

Hanlon recorded his first collegiate reception and touchdown against Bowdoin on Oct. 25, hauling in a 26-yard touchdown pass from Cam Holland with 3:49 remaining in the fourth quarter of Trinity's 45-3 victory. The reception was his only catch of the game and gave him 26 receiving yards and one touchdown.
