AS A SENIOR IN 2018-19: Tri-captain...returning starter.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2017-18: Played in every game...led the Bantams in rebounding and blocked shots...scored a season-high 12 points versus Wheelock...had a season high nine rebounds against Bates College...NESCAC All-Academic Team.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016-17: 2nd on team in field-goal shooting and free-throw shooting and 5th in rebounding...3rd in blocked shots...NESCAC All-Academic team

BEFORE TRINITY: Two-year captain, two-time all-league and all-area honoree, and an all-academic selection in high school...also lettered scholastically in volleyball and soccer.

PERSONAL: Earned Faculty Honors in every semester since 2016...Earned an award in high school for leadership...volunteers at a Boys' and Girls' Club and soup kitchen through his local youth ministry...mentored young athletes in his local community through the MIAA Student-Athlete Ambassador program...majoring in interdisciplinary computing and neuroscience...son of Bjorn and Maureen Merinder...sister, Meagan played volleyball at Holy Cross, sister, Jennifer participated in volleyball and track and field at Union, and brother, Bjorn, played tennis at Fairfield.
