AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019: Missed the season with an injury.

BEFORE TRINITY: Team defensive MVP and team and area scholar-athlete award recipient for his high school team that won a State title...also starred scholastically in baseball...won a gold medal in power lifting.

PERSONAL: Student ambassador and peer tutor in high school...volunteers at a local food pantry...works as a summer counselor at youth football camps and a STEP academic program...works part-time as a painter and an electrician...started his own handyman business...enjoys working on cars...majoring in economics...son of Lisa and Sal Cappiello.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: Trinity's academic reputation is second to none.  When given this amazing opportunity to be part of such a respected institution, there was really no other decision to be made.  The football program offers an elite chance to play for some of the most skilled coaches in the sport.  It is an honor to be part of something so special.  Trinity will provide me with the best foundation for my future.
