Biography

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022: Returning starter at SS...missed half the season with an injury...led the Bantams in batting average and sacrifices (tied), 4th on team in hits and on-base percentage, and 5th in slugging percentage...had 11 multi-hit games...was 3-for-5 with three runs and two steals in a win against Mount St. Vincent...finished 3-for-5 with three RBIs and two doubles in an extra-inning loss to top-ranked Eastern Connecticut.

AS A ROOKIE IN 2021: All-NESCAC Second Team...led the Bantams in at-bats, runs (tied), hits, and stolen bases, 3rd on team in batting average, and T4th in doubles.

BEFORE TRINITY: All-conference twice in high school...batted .365 with four home runs as a junior in high school...two time all-conference honorable mentions.

PERSONAL: Volunteers with Al's Angels Toy Drive, Habitat for Humanity, and with his local church...enjoys fishing, golf, skiing, and tennis...would like to attend graduate school...majoring in economics...son of Sean and Cara Lyn Mathews.
