AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2017: Second on team in getting hit by pitches (7th in NESCAC) and on-base percentage (8th in NESCAC), third in batting average and RBI, and fifth in runs (tied), doubles, and stolen bases...third in NESCAC in chances and put-outs and fourth in double plays turned...team defensive player of the year (John Kelly Gold Glove Award)...NESCAC All-Academic Team.
AS A ROOKIE IN 2016: All-NESCAC Second Team...led Trinity in runs, triples (T1st in NESCAC), home runs, extra bases (tied), hit batsman (tied), slugging percentage, and on-base percentage, second on team in hits, doubles,and walks, and fourth in batting average.
BEFORE TRINITY: All-conference honoree in high school after batting .343 in his senior season...also lettered in basketball.
PERSONAL: Received separate high school achievement awards for excellence in management and marketing...has received Faculty Honors multiple times...majoring in economics...son of Margaret and John Stamatis...father played baseball at Columbia and mother played tennis for the Bantams.
