AS A JUNIOR IN 2019: All-NESCAC First Team...topped the NESCAC in at-bats, hits, and slugging percentage...led the Bantams in batting average (3rd in NESCAC), doubles (T2nd in NESCAC), triples (T6th in NESCAC), and home runs (T3rd in NESCAC), total bases, 2nd on team in on-base percentage (5th in NESCAC) and stolen bases (T4th in NESCAC), and 3rd on team in runs (9th in NESCAC), RBIs (6th in NESCAC), and walks (T9th in NESCAC)...NESCAC Player of the Week once...went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs in an 11-3 over Salve Regina in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament...went 5-for-5 with two homers, three runs and three RBIs in a 7-2 over Salve Regina in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament...went 3-for-6 with a double, two runs and two steals in a 12-3 win over Babson in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2018: D3Baseball.com All-New England Third Team...All-NESCAC First Team...led the Bantams in hits (6th in NESCAC), home runs (T3rd in NESCAC), total bases, slugging percentage (T2nd in NESCAC), on-base percentage (6th in NESCAC), batting average (2nd in NESCAC), and assist, 2nd on team in runs, triples, and RBIs, 3rd in walks, and 4th in stolen bases.
AS A ROOKIE IN 2017: Led the Bantams in stolen bases (3rd In NESCAC), triples (3rd in NESCAC), and walks (3rd in NESCAC), second on team in at-bats, third in runs (9th in NESCAC), hits (tied), and total bases, fourth in batting average and doubles, and fifth in RBI and slugging percentage...had two hits, two runs, and three stolen bases in 9-5 Bantam victory over Wesleyan.
BEFORE TRINITY: Captain of high school team...also lettered in football and basketball in high school...National Honor Society member.
PERSONAL: Played his second summer for the North Adams Steeplecats in the NECBL and finshed second on the team with a .376 average earning NECBL All-Star Team and All-NECBL First Team...enjoys golf...majoring in biology...son of Diane and Chris Koperniak...brother, Mike, played baseball at Wheaton College (Mass.)...father played baseball at Umass.
