King joined the Bantams coaching staff after serving as assistant coach at Springfield College during the 2023-24 season. Before heading to Springfield, King held the position of Head Coach and Recruiting Director for Springfield Commonwealth Academy, handling all aspects of the Power 5 AA program. King also served as assistant for the Power 5 AAA team, who made a run to the AAA Championship and a #11 ranking in the postseason New England Prep rankings. King recruited six players who earned Division I and II scholarships, ten players achieve NCAA rankings and five players represent their countries in international competitions. King co-founded the One Dream Western Mass AAU program in Spring of 2021, and served as Camp Director for the Longmeadow Basketball Camp for the last six summers. King graduated from Springfield College in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Movement and Sports Science with a minor in Athletic Coaching.
