Trey Witter

Trey Witter enters his third season as an assistant coach for the Trinity College men's basketball team in the upcoming 2023-24 season. Witter joined the Bantam coaching staff after spending the previous year as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at his alma mater, Springfield College.  Witter was a four-year player and a two-year captain for the Pride, where he helped his team win two conference titles and reach the 2018 NCAA Final Four.  

Prior to his playing career at Springfield, Witter was also an All-State and Academic All-State honoree at Farmington High School and helped St. Thomas More Prep advance to the 2016 National Championship Final, where he was mentored by legendary coaches Duane Witter and Jere Quinn.  Witter was a member of Springfield's Student-Athlete Leadership Team while earning his bachelor's degree in movement and sport studies.  He is earned a master's degree from Springfield in sport and exercise psychology in 2023.
